This letter, dated July 11, 1887, is from J. A. Gillespie, Chairman of the Local Committee of Charities and Corrections, regarding the 14th National Conference of Charities and Corrections to Kansas Governor John Martin. Gillespie wrote inviting the governor and his delegates to the conference. There are notes within this file that have D. C. Miluer appointed as delegate. The Conference of Charities and Corrections was held in Omaha, Nebraska from August 25th to 31st, 1887.
