The documents in this file pertain to matters in Labette County, Kansas. A letter from P. Davis informs Kansas Governor St. John there will be a resignation in the office of Coroner. Following this is a resignation from the current Coroner of Labette County. There are letters from citizens in Labette County petitioning to have certain men appointed as Coroner. There is also a resignation letter for County Surveyor as well as recommendation letters for certain persons to fill said position. Further letters discuss the vacancy in the office of Probate Judge and recommendations for certain men to fill the position.
