The documents in this file pertain to matters in Labette County, Kansas. A letter from P. Davis informs Kansas Governor St. John there will be a resignation in the office of Coroner. Following this is a resignation from the current Coroner of Labette County. There are letters from citizens in Labette County petitioning to have certain men appointed as Coroner. There is also a resignation letter for County Surveyor as well as recommendation letters for certain persons to fill said position.
