This photograph shows Ramona and John Carlin holding the "Topeka Daily Capital " newspaper. The masthead reads " Kassebaum, Bennett win for GOP." The paper projected an early win for Republican Nancy Landon Kassebaum in the U.S. Senate race and Republican Robert Bennett in the Kansas Governor race.
