This brochure is from John Carlin's third gubernatorial campaign. He sought the nomination for governor "because he is concerned about the lack of leadership in state government." He campaigned around the desire to bring the people of Kansas together to solve the pressing problems that confronts the state. In the August primary he lost the Democratic nomination to State Treasurer Joan Finney.
