This photograph shows Sister Jeanne McKenna as a passenger on the Inaugural Express to Wichita, Kansas during Kansas Governor John Carlin's first inauguration as governor. Sister McKenna served in Governor Carlin's administration from 1978-1980 and wrote the death penalty veto message in 1979.
