This photograph shows William D. Woodburn (right) from the Atchison, Topeka and Sant Fe Railway Company's adverting department with an unidentified man on the front of engine #5627. In the foreground the slogan "Handling freight YOUR WAY is our way of serving you" is visible. Woodburn stared with ATSF in 1965 and held various positions in their advertising department in Topeka, Kansas and in Los Angeles, California. In addition, he was the General Manager of Advertising in Chicago. Woodburn retired in 1988 as President of Santa Fe's in-house advertising agency.
