This photograph of a painting shows Adrian Lawrence Greene, (1848-1907). He was appointed justice to the Kansas Supreme Court serving from 1901 to 1907. During his career Greene also served as county attorney of Harvey County, Kansas, and was involved in enforcing laws against the illegal manufacturing and distribution of alcohol in the county.
