This set of photographs show Pedro "Pete" Sandoval,(1924-2006), Born to Gabriel and Bartola Ramirez Sandoval in Hutchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico. His family migrated to the United States when Pedro was three years old, first settling in Orway, Colorado, and later making their home in Garden City, Kansas. Pedro was a foreman for the milk department at Gardiner Dairy for twenty-six years and was a TV technician for Crabb Electric and Sears Department Store for ten years. He served in World War II in the United States Army and was also a member of the Latin American Club, G.I. Form and chairman of the Fiesta Committee in Garden City. On January 29, 2006 Pedro "Pete" Sandoval passed away at the age of eighty-one.
