These three colored slides show restoration work on the Cyrus K. Holliday steam locomotive at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka, Kansas. In the first and second slide the train is inside the Kansas Museum of History. In the third slide the steam locomotive is at the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company shops in Topeka, Kansas. The train was placed on a flatbed and transported to the Kansas Museum of History and moved into place while the building was under construction. In 1984, the museum moved to a facility west of Topeka. In 1995, the State Archives Division and Library along with the Archeology Division moved to a building next to the museum at 6425 SW 6th Ave.
