This photograph shows the Nels Ferguson family gathered on a hilltop which overlooks their homestead called "Rock Hill Farms" in Jewell County, Kansas. Ferguson named the homestead in reference to the materials quarried out of the White Rock Valley area, of Jewell County, Kansas, which provided the means for him to build two homes on the property.
