Three photographs of Evan Johnson in a group of musicians in Topeka, Kansas. Two photos show Johnson with a group behind a sign reading "Dance to Evan Johnson and his Premiers." The third photo is a panoramic photograph of the Topeka Civic Symphony Orchestra in 1963-1964. Evan Johnson later joined the Red Dogs, the house band for the Red Dog Inn. The band played in Lawrence monthly and was on the road every weekend plus summer tours. The Red Dogs preformed a wide variety of songs and musical styles. The Red Dog Inn was a nightclub in Lawrence, Kansas. The nightclub was opened in Liberty Hall in 1965.
