Photograph of a pass for a Rising Suns event in Coffeyville, Kansas. The Rising Suns toured extensively and were once named the top act in the Midwest by Teen Screen Magazine. The Rising Suns name was passed to the Dalton Gang from Coffeyville, Kansas, following their move to Lawrence, Kansas. Members of the original Rising Suns rebranded as the Young Raiders, an estimate of around a hundred musicians from around Kansas served as members of the Young Raiders throughout the band's tenure.
