These two photographs shows Fannie Garrettson. Garrettson was a singer and entertainer who performed at the Long Branch saloon in Dodge City, Kansas and other cow towns across the Great Plains. She is best remembered for being the friend and roommate of opera singer Dora Hand, also know by the stage name, Fannie Garetson, who was mistakenly shot and killed on October 04, 1878 in Dodge City, Kansas.
