A petition from citizens of Kansas informing Kansas Governor St. John there are more than fifteen hundred inhabitants, the required number, in the boundaries of Graham County and ask that the Governor organize their county as well as appoint Abram T. Hall as Census Taker for Graham County. Following this petition is a letter from Notary Public affirming the signatures are of householders and bona fide residents of Graham County.
