These letters, spanning February 1886, are from state officials regarding the 22nd Judicial District judge to Kansas Governor John Martin. The letters discuss the creation and appointment of a 22nd Judicial District judge. The recommended candidates were A. Wells, R. C. Bassett, and J. Falloon. J. Falloon had signed petitions for his appointment.
