Most of the documents here are petitions from the citizens of Pratt county to Kansas Governor St. John to appoint certain individuals for county positions. Included is a letter to Governor St. John from a resident of Stafford county informing the governor that the census taker for Pratt county has been taking names from citizens in Stafford county.
