This file includes letters to Kansas Governor St. John in relation to the Asylum in Osawatomie, Kansas. One of the telegraphs to the governor explains in little detail the destruction caused to the Asylum after the fire. Another letter from A. H. Knapp invites Governor St. John to visit the Asylum. There is another letter from A. H. Knapp inquiring the name and address of a party who is applying for a position in the Asylum.
