A letter on November 23, 1877, from L. R. Elliott, concerns College Land purchased by T. W. Russell. A letter on January 29, 1877, from L. R. Elliott, asks for copies of the Governor's special message on the College Land Tax question. Also included is a copy of a statement of Agricultural College Lands in Dickinson, Marshall, and Washington counties that have been sold for taxes and deeded by the county.
