This file includes correspondence relating to the proposal of the county seat in Haskell County. Several years earlier in 1913, Haskell County held a special legislation to elect a county seat and are attempting to pass a bill through the House of Representatives to change voting requirements for the county seat in 1915. This is part of a bigger collection of Governor Arthur Capper correspondence.
