A photograph of a female prisoner, Nora Hardee, from the Kansas State Industrial Farm for Women. Nora Hardee was incarcerated for a violation of Chapter 205 in 1924. Chapter 205 was a quarantine law that allowed the state to imprison women with venereal diseases.
