A photograph of female prisoners, Martha Grady and Nellie Bigloive, from the Kansas State Industrial Farm for Women. Martha Grady was incarcerated for a violation of Chapter 205 in 1924. Chapter 205 was a quarantine law that allowed the state to imprison women with venereal diseases. Nellie Bigloive was declared "dangerous, insane" and incarcerated in 1924.
