A photograph is of female prisoners, Ethel Habertheir and Opal Rhodes, from the Kansas State Industrial Farm for Women. Ethel Habertheir and Opal Rhodes were incarcerated for violations of Chapter 205 in 1921. Chapter 205 was a quarantine law that allowed the state to imprison women with venereal diseases.
