These survey plats show property ownership for Wabaunsee County, Kansas, townships about 1866. This is followed by copies of an 1855-1856 survey of Richardson County, Kansas, for the same townships. Also included is a plat of "Old Jackson Island" in the Kansas River published in 1927. Richardson was one of the original thirty-three counties created by the first territorial legislature. In 1859, what had been Richardson County became a part of Wabaunsee County.
