A report on historic properties owned by the Kansas State Historical Society, created by the field programs team as an outgrowth of a 1977-1978 Historic Sites committee that had visited each site in order to gather information. The report includes general objectives and recommendations for the historic sites owned by the Society, as well as developing criteria for potential future acquisitions by the Society, and specific information and recommendations about each site. Concerns focused on interpretation and exhibits, upkeep and physical maintenance, staffing and increasing attendance, etc. Also includes discussions for potential public ownership of Tobias archaeological site in Rice County and Pratt Ranch in Sheridan County. Brochures from sites are in an attached envelope.
